An exhibition pieced together by Theresa Shanks, at the Centre for Creative Arts. It is to bring awareness to the human trafficking of women across the Canada and the world.
Justice is depicted behind bars of gold as real justice is normally hindered by influence of financial endorsement.
Ticking Time depicts a woman’s body super-imposed with an image of a running sand timer. A woman’s body is a biologic clock that is imposed by gender norms.
